Lesjöfors springs in the new Volvo S60/V60 Polestar concept car

25/09/2014 Lesjöfors Fjädrar have been chosen to supply springs for the Volvo S60/V60 Polestar, a new high-performance concept car concentrating on the driving experience.

The S60/V60 Polestar is a further development of the standard Volvo S60/V60, and great effort has gone in to enhancing the driving experience, increasing the performance, and improving the car’s aerodynamics. The upgraded suspension system is central to these improvements.

The spring development process required close cooperation between Lesjöfors’ and Volvo’s development engineers and operators. The final product was an optimal spring of very high quality that paves the way for future collaborations between the two companies.

‘We are very pleased and proud to have been selected as spring supplier to Volvo. This is the first step in what we hope a future close and successful relationship for both parties’, says Mats Blåder, MD of Lesjöfors Fjädrar.
